Week Two

When heaven meets earth...in Matthew this week, we see Jesus baptised, receive His father's blessing, be led into the wilderness and tempted for 40 days, and begin his ministry. Such rich scripture and text and many prophecies are being filled within these pages. He is a Promise Keeper! Take a moment and reflect on the importance and beauty of what we are reading today.

The Roman Road! We are just at the beginning of delving into the Gospel, Salvation, Works, Faith, Righteousness, the Law and so much more. I pray today that the Holy Spirit will open our eyes to understand in greater depth all that this particular book has for each of us. Bless our discussion sweet Jesus. Day 8-it's time for Isaiah! I had to do some research to find out what was happening in these 5 chapters. A great place to go deeper is www.bibleref.com   The descriptions of history, describing Isaiah's writing style, and timeline jumping was super helpful. I have a very brief recap and a few questions for each of the chapters below. Let's dig in together and ask the Holy Spirit for insight into the text.

Week 1 Day 7 Our last day of this week's reading ends with the fulfillment of many prophecies, but it's tied closely to the Genesis 3:15 prophecy. It is so incredible to spend time in 7 books of the Bible and be able to see how this one book, written by over 40 authors over 2000 years, is so intricately connected and inspired by the Holy Spirit.
