And just like that, we complete the pages of Joshua. This is better than the end of a good book or an amazing movie. This is the very Word of God in action. Throughout these pages we have seen the Sovereign hand of Adonai leading His people, fulfilling His promises, completing miracle after miracle, and providing for their every we need. We see His humble warrior servant Joshua leading the Israelites to conquer their enemies while serving Creator God. In Romans this week

Oh the treasures in these chapters are unumerable! Adonai, the Lord, was so prominent in all of these verses and truths. Did you see anything that affirms His supreme authority and sovereignty as Adonai? Do tell!

Our focus for this week's readings is the name of God in Hebrew, Adonai. It means Lord, Master and signifies his supreme authority and sovereignty over all of creation. As we are reading and encountering Him in the scriptures this week, let's ask the Lord to help us recognize this attribute within the context of our reading.
