Job might seem like a difficult book to tackle on a Monday, but in it we definitely see the beauty of God's relentless pursuit in our most difficult times of adversity.

What I love about Job is that he was a gentile who had a deep faith in God. I would love to know how he came to this faith and became an intrigual part of scripture. His surrender to Yahweh is absolutely beautiful in the most catastrophic place of loss. Jesus, may we learn from Job what it means to worship you. Open the eyes of our hearts as we dive into this portion of scripture.
